Quilt labels are one of those things that can really add just the right finishing touch to your quilts. They can be so much more than just the signature at the bottom of the masterpiece.
People use them not only to mark them as their own, but to catalog them as well as built in greeting cards.
A basic quilt label will include the quilter’s name and maybe the year that it was made. While a quilt show label will include everything from the name and pattern used to the quilters home address. Some choose to put the name of the recipient on the quilt as well as the occasion the quilt is being gifted for, like a graduation or retirement.
Quilt labels can be iron on, custom made, printed at home, or hand written. The sky really is the limit!
